From September 10th to 12th, 2025, the 26th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) was grandly held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. Themed "Connecting Everything with Light, Enabling the Future with Intelligence", this edition of the exhibition gathered over 3,800 high-quality optoelectronic enterprises from around the world, covering eight core sectors including information and communication, precision optics, and laser intelligent manufacturing.

During the three-day exhibition, SAN-U Optronics highlighted the company's latest products and technological breakthroughs in the field of optical communication.

The company exhibited a series of self-developed chip detectors: MiniPD (TO12/18/25), Tap PD series products, PD Array, etc. These products have transitioned from import substitution to export success, becoming leaders in the segmented market. These products are widely used in optical fiber amplifiers, optical power devices, and sensing and detection fields, attracting a large number of professional visitors from both domestic and international markets to stop and engage in discussions.

High-speed silicon photonics engine packaging foundry

SAN-U Optronics has brought a high-speed silicon photonics engine packaging foundry solution, which is applied to the 400G/800G high-speed silicon photonics module series. It has been optimized and designed for data center interconnection applications in the context of the explosive demand for AI computing power, helping to promote AI development.

Laser sensing application solution

This time, the company has specially set up a display area for sensing modules: lidar sensing modules, methane gas detection modules, and drone ranging modules. It showcases the company's technological layout in emerging application fields. These modules are mainly targeted at intelligent driving, household gas safety, and industrial sensing applications, reflecting the strategic direction of SAN-U Optronics' product expansion from the communication field to the sensing field.

During the exhibition, multiple industry, application, academic, and international conferences were held concurrently, providing valuable technical and market insights for SAN-U Optronics. The company's representatives participating in the conferences engaged in in-depth discussions with industry experts on the development trends of optical communication technology driven by AI computing power. During the technical exchanges, it was discovered that driven by AI computing power, 800G is being rapidly deployed, 1.6T is gradually maturing, silicon photonics has achieved a market share of 30% to 40%, and CPO is getting closer and closer to large-scale commercialization. These trends are highly aligned with SAN-U Optronics' product planning direction, strengthening the company's determination to vigorously invest in the research and development of high-speed products.

 

During the exhibition, SAN-U Optronics received multiple potential customers from various fields such as communication, sensing, and military industry across the country, and conducted preliminary negotiations on specific project cooperation. SAN-U Optronics also engaged in technical exchanges with several research institutes, exploring the possibility of joint technology development.
